Ice-cream floats

Serves: 4 Takes: 10 mins

Ingredients:

  • 8tbsp read-made chocolate sauce or syrup, plus extra to serve
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1.5 litres cola
  • Whipped cream and maraschino cherries, to garnish

Method:

Divide the chocolate sauce or syrup between four glasses and top with the ice cream. Pour cola into each glass, stopping 3cm below the rim. Squirt whipped cream onto each float, drizzle over more chocolate sauce or syrup and garnish with the maraschino cherries. Serve with long spoons and straws.

TIP: Try experimenting with different ice cream and soft drink combinations to find your favourite.
